Job Description


We are looking for a VP, Payroll Operations to join our fast paced corporate platforms organization. This position is responsible for the oversight of Global Payroll business processes operations.  This includes managing Payroll processing operations of outsourced vendor, internal and external auditor’s requests, ensuring government payroll regulatory compliance, documenting payroll procedures. This position is responsible for global payroll strategy formulation and execution in various countries.  This position requires a natural leader who can lead a team in a large, multi-country organization.  



  • Oversight of payroll processing, regulatory compliance, filing and monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. Maintain comprehensive understanding of all new payroll regulatory changes. 

  • Manage operations and SLAs of 3rd party Payroll vendors.

  • Maintain documentation for Payroll procedures and internal controls. Coordinate, document and resolve internal controls issues.

  • Responsible for Operational metrics including accuracy, quality, responsiveness and productivity.

  • Define and execute global payroll strategy and lead execution of plan.

  • Manage payroll projects in the business process as well as in the payroll systems arena.



  • 6-10 years of experience using the SAP HR, Payroll and Time Management modules.

  • Experience in managing multiple payroll vendors in a large organization of 5000+ employees.

  • Strong project and operations management skills and proven experience.

  • CPP certification preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of US Federal, State & Local payroll and taxation, plus significant exposure to payroll practices internationally.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in payroll operations working with remote location payroll teams.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills across all levels.

  • Experience in re-engineering processes to improve controls and efficiencies.

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP software, and PowerPoint applications. 

  • Demonstrated experience in HR / Payroll related project management.
