Andrew McCaskill, Nielsen’s senior vice president of communications and advertising, sat down with Crystal Barnes, vice president of corporate social responsibility at Nielsen, to discuss the ongoing value of the Nielsen Global Responsibility Report. For the first time publicly, the report shares Nielsen’s commitments, progress and goals related to all aspects of its business and operations across relevant environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.
“[The Nielsen Global Responsibility Report] looks at everything from how we treat our people to how we manage our company and engage in the communities where we live and work around the world,” said Barnes. “It also was an opportunity to holistically look at how we monitor, measure and evaluate our citizenship and sustainability efforts.”
