Jerome’s Furniture Warehouse Renews Agreement with Nielsen as Local Television Measurement Provider
New York, NY — Dec. 11, 2018 — Today, Nielsen (NYSE:NLSN) announced that Jerome’s Furniture Warehouse, a major retail advertiser in Southern California, has renewed its agreement to use Local Nielsen as their currency for television buying as of January 2019. In this new agreement, Jerome’s will use Nielsen Local TV estimates exclusively which will provide Jerome’s with access to Nielsen’s comprehensive local currency TV ratings data for Los Angeles and San Diego.
Jerome’s Media director, Katie Rosenthal, made the decision to use Nielsen because of the company’s continued measurement improvements and the accuracy it provides in demographic rating estimates. “While Nielsen continues to provide Household viewing data, they are also the only company to provide persons-level measurement in Los Angeles and San Diego. This capability is integral to our business and to help reach our target audiences. Nielsen will ensure that Jerome’s can make the most informed ad buying decisions upon which to deliver its promise of transparency, service, honesty, and quality.”
