Nielsen Awarded MarTech Breakthrough Award for Best Overall Marketing Analytics Solution

Nielsen’s Outcomes suite honored for its innovative marketing technology providing brands the ability to streamline end-to-end processes

New York, NY – Aug. 12, 2021 – Today, Nielsen (NYSE: NLSN) announced that its Outcomes measurement suite, which enables marketers and media sellers to optimize and evaluate the impact of their marketing efforts, has won the Best Overall Marketing Analytics Solution in the annual industry-leading MarTech Breakthrough Awards program. MarTech Breakthrough recognizes the companies, technologies and products that drive the marketing technology (martech) industry forward and help brands effectively meet their business objectives through value, agility, innovation, expertise and impact.

Marketers and media sellers need to keep pace with changing consumer preferences and media behaviors, while justifying spend and delivering positive business results. The Nielsen Outcomes suite enables companies to maximize effectiveness and return on investment by providing confidence that their advertising and marketing campaigns are reaching and impacting audiences. The breakthrough solution provides Nielsen customers the ability to use the right data, develop the right tools, and assemble the right expertise to help clients manage the entire marketing funnel from awareness-building activities at the top to sales driving initiatives at the bottom.

Nielsen’s Outcomes suite addresses business goals such as budget setting, media selection, and in-flight optimization. Nielsen’s approach to marketing analytics relies on easy and agile implementation, an approach equipped for addressability, and end-to-end expertise so clients receive a fit-for-purpose solution for each step in their workflow.

“As marketers know, managing the entire customer journey is complicated, and it requires connecting a lot of data points across different facets of marketing—measurement isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach,” said Tina Wilson, Nielsen’s Global Head of Outcomes Measurement & Analytics. “At Nielsen, we pave the way for martech innovation by delivering the best solutions for our customers, especially since clients’ needs are unique and require distinctive solutions. We would like to thank the judges at MarTech Breakthrough for recognizing Nielsen’s commitment to help our customers optimize their customers’ journeys.”

This year, MarTech Breakthrough received nearly 3,000 nominations, with companies such as Adobe, Cision, Klaviyo and Mailchimp taking home honors in their respective categories.

“When it comes to measurement, one size doesn’t fit all as each organization’s needs are unique and require distinctive solutions. Even having the right data, tools and processes is one thing, but bringing it all together and managing these components with expert consultants is what truly drives action,” said James Johnson, Managing Director at MarTech Breakthrough. “Nielsen’s Outcomes Measurement suite breaks through in delivering on this need, with its unique capabilities and its legions of happy clients. Congratulations to Nielsen on being the clear choice for our ‘Best Overall Marketing Analytics Solution’ award for 2021.”
