Beyond the Bracket – game rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor
The sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by The Nielsen Company (US), LLC, with its principal place of business at 675 Sixth Avenue, New York, NY 10010 (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited, restricted, or taxed by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on March 12, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on April 3, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
4. How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible individuals may enter by:
- Visiting the Sweepstakes website at https://www.nielsen.com/beyond-the-bracket/; and
- Following the on-screen instructions to complete and submit the online entry form, including all required information (such email address).
As part of the entry process, entrants may be invited to participate in a short online experience that may include answering questions, making predictions, or completing other interactive elements. Participation in any such experience is for engagement and entertainment purposes only. Performance, including scores, times, rankings, or placement on any leaderboard, will not affect an entrant’s chances of winning a prize in the Sweepstakes.
Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, or other automated means, or by any other means that subvert the entry process, are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
5. Winner Selection and Odds
On or about April 5, 2026, Sponsor will select three (25) potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Prizes
A total of three (25) prizes will be awarded, with an aggregate approximate retail value (“ARV”) of one hundred and ninety dollars (US$190).
- Percussion Massager (TheraGun Relief)
- Insulated Coffee Mug (Yeti Rambler Stackable Mug DURASIP™ Ceramic Liner | 10 oz).
Total ARV of all prizes: US$4,750.
Prizes are nontransferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use that are not expressly stated as being provided as part of the prize. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent tax reporting document to any winner whose prize value meets or exceeds applicable thresholds.
7. Winner Notification and Verification
The potential winners will be notified by email using the contact information provided at the time of entry, within approximately seven (7) days following the random drawing. Sponsor is not responsible for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received for any reason.
Each selected winner may be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release, as well as any required tax forms (collectively, “Winner Documents”) within ten (10) days of the date of notification or within the time specified by Sponsor. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time period, fails to sign and return the Winner Documents within the specified time, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and Sponsor may select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries, time permitting.
8. Publicity
Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its designees’ use of the winner’s name, likeness, voice, biographical information, and city and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
9. General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes, and to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes or any part of it if fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, and to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
10. Release and Limitations of Liability
By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize, including, but not limited to, unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes, technical errors, printing or typographical errors, lost or undeliverable communications, or injury or damage to persons or property.
Entrants further agree that in any such claim or cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the entrant’s actual out-of-pocket costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to recover attorneys’ fees. Except where prohibited by applicable law, entrants waive all rights to claim indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
11. Disputes; Governing Law; Jurisdiction
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree that any dispute, claim, or cause of action arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action or mass arbitration, and any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants or Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to the Sweepstakes shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and entrants consent to jurisdiction and venue in such courts and waive any objection based on improper venue or forum non conveniens.
12. Privacy
Information collected from entrants in connection with the Sweepstakes is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://www.nielsen.com/legal/privacy-principles/website-privacy-statement/. By participating, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and as otherwise described in Sponsor’s privacy policy and this Sweepstakes, in accordance with applicable law.
13. Winners List
To obtain the name(s) of the winner(s), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: “Beyond the Bracket – Winners List Request,” c/o Nielsen, 675 Sixth Avenue, New York, NY 10010, to be received no later than May 31, 2026. Where permitted by law, the winner(s) may also be announced on www.nielsen.com/beyond-the-bracket and/or Sponsor’s social media channels.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Official Rules, which shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between Sponsor and each entrant concerning the Sweepstakes and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between Sponsor and the entrant with respect to the Sweepstakes.
