Nielsen Saudi Arabia recently announced a historic collaboration with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Jeddah Chamber), one of the oldest business and services organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two companies agreed to work together during an official signing ceremony at the Jeddah Chamber Building.
A first of its kind, this collaboration will provide the business community in Jeddah with specific insights from Nielsen’s global surveys and a deeper understanding of the Saudi consumer. Additionally, Nielsen will benefit from the local insights provided through the Jeddah economic gateway.
Our global surveys provide knowledge and understanding into consumer habits in Saudi Arabia and more than 60 other countries around the world. These surveys are fielded multiple times a year and address some of the top trends affecting businesses across the globe.
These surveys get to the heart of what’s driving consumer behavior and sentiment and are essential for businesses trying to reach these consumers. For example, based on our global consumer confidence survey, 51% of Saudi Arabian respondents felt it was time to buy in the third quarter, up from 45% in the second quarter. Insights like these can help local businesses determine when consumers are opening or closing their wallets to better engage them.
