He was appointed to this role in August 2006.</p>n<p>Prior to joining Nielsen, David served as Vice Chairman of The General Electric Co. and President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Infrastructure, the largest of six GE business units. Under Davidu2019s leadership, this business annually contributed more than $47 billion in revenues and $9 billion in profits to the company, driven by a team of over 120,000 employees around the world.</p>n<p>During his 26-year career with General Electric, David served as President and Chief Executive Officer of multiple business units, including GE Lighting, GE Employers Reinsurance Co., GE Aircraft Engines, GE Transportation (Aircraft and Rail) and ultimately GE Infrastructure. </p>n<p>Earlier in his career at General Electric, David held a wide range of operating, finance, and marketing roles across the corporate team as well as within GE Plastics and GE Capital. David joined GE after graduating from Virginia Tech in 1979.</p>n<p>David is the co-author of a book with Rick Kash titled <a href=”http://www.howcompanieswin.com/”>How Companies Win</a>. Chief Commercial Officer, Nielsen Global Media

Megan Clarken è Chief Commercial Officer di Nielsen Global Media. Dirige i team commerciali Global Media da gennaio 2019.

Da quando è entrata in Nielsen, nel 2004, ha ricoperto numerose posizioni dirigenziali globali. Recentemente, in qualità di Presidente della divisione Watch, prima in qualità di Presidente di Product Leadership, ha guidato il team globale responsabile della strategia, dello sviluppo e della gestione delle principali soluzioni Nielsen per la misurazione delle campagne pubblicitarie e dei contenuti televisivi, digitali e cross-platform. È stata fondamentale nel lancio della Total Audience, finalizzata a rilevare il pubblico totale raggiunto dai contenuti e dagli annunci pubblicitari su tutti gli schermi e a fornire le stesse metriche per i formati digitali e quelli televisivi. 

Precedentemente è stata Direttore Generale di Media Client Services in Asia Pacific, Medio Oriente e Africa, e Direttore Generale delle attività digitali di Nielsen in Asia Pacific. Ha inoltre ricoperto ruoli senior nella gestione del portfolio prodotti di digital analytics.

Prima di entrare in Nielsen, ha ricoperto posizioni di senior leadership per importanti editori e fornitori di tecnologia online, tra cui Akamai Technologies e Ninemsn in Australia.

È originaria della Nuova Zelanda e attualmente vive a New York.
