Olivier Deschamps leads Nielsen’s Retailer Services area in Europe, a position he assumed at the end of 2011. In this role, Olivier oversees the delivery of advanced retail measurement solutions and analytics to retailer services clients across numerous disciplines, including shopper insights, merchandising services, assortment optimization, price tracking and out-of-stock management.
Prior to joining Nielsen, Olivier was Chief Operating Officer of Casino Group. It was here he organized the creation of dunnhumby France (a joint-venture between Casino Group and dunnhumby Ltd.), developed and implemented the customer strategy for Monoprix, and subsequently initiated the rollout of the partnership across all Groupe Casino banners in France and Latin America.
Olivier joined the Casino Group in 1999, holding positions across a variety of store formats. After establishing and implementing the group’s new loyalty policy, he held the role of Group Marketing Director between 2002 and 2007.
Olivier is a member of Nielsen’s European Executive Council.
Olivier graduated from the HEC School of Management in Paris.
