Paul Walker was appointed European leader for Nielsen’s Performance Management Practice at the end of 2013. The core objective of this practice is to deliver growth for clients in the region across the areas of shopper and loyalty, store and assortment, and price and promotion. The practice’s scope includes more than 40 services, covering price and promotion modelling, revenue management and optimization, assortment modelling, in-store observations, merchandising services, and loyalty and shopper research.
Prior to his current position, Paul led the North East Europe region (covering Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and the Caucasus countries) between 2011 and 2013. In this role he diversified the product range across new areas such as shopper and TV measurement.
Paul graduated from Manchester University in 1994 and joined Nielsen that year. He has held various leadership roles across the business, including U.K. Client Manager, U.K. New Business Development lead and Client Sales Director for The Netherlands. Paul was also Managing Director of Nielsen Turkey between 2009 and 2011.
Paul Walker is a member of Nielsen’s European Executive Council.
