Pedro is responsible now for guiding, managing and leading the Buy businesses in Colombia, and leading Retail Business in Latin America.
Pedro was until July the Cluster Leader for the Andean and Caribbean region, position that he occupied since June 2013. From 2008 to 2013 he was Country Manager for Venezuela, after 5 years of being Commercial Manager in Colombia. Between 1998 and 2003 was responsible for Retail Service Business Unit.
He began working with Nielsen Colombia in 1994, in Client Service like trainee and Executive. In 1998 he was promoted to Account Manager and transferred to Bogotá to lead, from CS, the ARMS implementation for Coca-Cola.
Pedro is a member of the Consultative Committee of the Venezuelan Association of Supermarkets (ANSA for its acronym in Spanish) and President of the FMCG Committee in the American Chamber in Venezuela (Venamcham).
Pedro is Industrial Engineer of Javeriana University, and has complementary studies about leadership, negotiation, emotional intelligence, between others.
Pedro has been married for 14 years to Ana Maria, and they have two kids, Mariana and Samuel, 10 and 7 years old respectively.
