Sharang Pant is Managing Director for Nielsen Sri Lanka. In this role, he is responsible for all strategic decisions to drive business, productivity growth, and smooth functioning of Nielsen operations in Sri Lanka, and will drive growth for our clients by helping them with their business objectives.
Sharang joined Nielsen in 2001 and has performed various roles across 4 different countries. He has over 15 years of research experience, working with clients across different sectors like CPG, Pharmaceuticals, BFSI, Infrastructure and Retail. Prior to taking up the role in Sri Lanka, he was a Client Business Partner with Nielsen India servicing large business conglomerates. His experience also includes a business unit leadership role in Vietnam.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Diploma in Marketing Management, both from the University of Mumbai, India.
