Karen Fichuk is President, North America for Nielsen. Appointed to this position in August 2014, she leads our business with consumer packaged goods manufacturers and retailers in the U.S. and Canada.
Karen has been with Nielsen since 1990, contributing to our company's success in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Client Service, and Retail Services. Most recently she served as Executive Vice President, leading the go-to-market strategy for our North American consumer business. In this role, Karen developed innovative new service models and launched new initiatives to drive business results for our clients and for Nielsen.
Karen recently completed the International Women's Forum Fellows Program and mentors several female and diverse associates across the organization as a leader of the Nielsen Diversity Council. She has served as both Nielsen's business lead of the Network for Executive Women and Nielsen's executive sponsor for our internal global employee resource group, Women In Nielsen (WIN).
Karen received a B.S. in Finance/Real Estate from Colorado State University and attended the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
