Primetime Broadcast Ratings, September 22, 2008
The season premiere of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” was the top-ranked primetime telecast on broadcast TV for Monday, September 22, 2008, drawing an average of just over 21.3 million viewers.
Three of CBS’s Monday night premieres, “CSI: Miami,” “Two and a Half Men,” and “Worst Week,” claimed the next three slots in the rankings, with average audiences of approximately 17.2 million, 14.9 million, and 10.9 million viewers, respectively.
The season premiere of NBC’s “Heroes” rounded out the top five, with just over 10 million average viewers.

Overall, ABC won the night with an average audience of just over 17.2 million viewers, while CBS took second place with just over 13.2 million average viewers. NBC and FOX claimed third and fourth places — with roughly 8.7 million and almost 5.9 million average viewers, respectively. Univision and the CW followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of just over 4.7 million and 3.2 million viewers, respectively.
