We’re excited to announce that Brad Kelly, managing director of Nielsen Audio, has been selected by Radio Ink as one of the 2016 40 Most Powerful in Radio! The honorees, selected by Radio Ink’s editorial board, represent the industry’s most powerful leaders and influencers.

Radio Ink defines power in radio as individuals who make decisions that have a major impact on their company as well as the entire industry. They are leaders who spend all their time and energy to generate ideas and solutions that have a strong influence on the future of radio.

It’s no surprise that Brad was selected to represent Nielsen on this list, as he exhibits all the qualities of a powerful leader.

In his role at Nielsen, Brad oversees all sales and account management activity within the U.S. for the company’s core radio business unit. Brad leads a talented team of salespeople and client service representatives who sell and service the Nielsen Audio suite nationally to more than 4,000 radio stations, networks, external contracted sales agents and related broadcast organizations.

When discussing Nielsen’s advancements to the radio industry, Brad says “Nielsen has been a strong voice delivering pro-radio success stories that convey a great message and always get good play. The company’s also helping move the industry forward by innovating.”

“I consider it a privilege to be representing the Nielsen brand. Instant name recognition and a long legacy of credibility are tremendous assets for any company,” he says about his inclusion on this year’s list. “Plus, it’s genuinely a top-notch organization, up and down the line. I think many radio operators agree that Nielsen’s association with the industry has helped improve radio’s visibility in the advertising ecosphere. That is something I am proud of and plan to build on.”

Brad was selected alongside executives from iHeartMedia, CBS Radio, Cumulus, Cox Media Group, Radio One, ESPN and many more. The Top 40 recipients will be celebrated at a VIP reception in November at the Harvard Club in New York City.
