Sara Lloyd leads Pan Macmillan’s digital strategy and associated business model, channel, workflow and product innovation, and as well as the people and skills changes that accompany this, she is also responsible for the group's communications teams and strategy, covering marketing, publicity and corporate communications. Operationally she is responsible for the group's entire communications output including promotions of all types through paid-for, earned and owned platforms.
Sara is an experienced publishing professional with many years working in the areas of digital innovation, strategic planning, change management, marketing and communications, enabling a closer and more dynamic relationship with key stakeholders. Her career over the last 21 years has spanned newspaper, academic, reference, STM and trade publishing and she has played a key role in transforming many publishing businesses from print to digital.
