To commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, Andrew McCaskill, Nielsen’s senior vice president (SVP) of Communications and Multicultural Marketing, sat down with Monica Gil, SVP and General Manager, Multicultural Growth and Strategy, Nielsen, and Luis Miranda, co-chair of Nielsen’s Hispanic Latino Advisory Council, to discuss our recently released Diversity Intelligence Series Hispanic Consumer Report.

The report, From the Ballot Box to the Grocery Store: A 2016 Perspective on Growing Hispanic Influence in America, highlights the surge of Hispanic consumer power and influence in this country, as it relates to marketers who hope to engage diverse consumers in store, on screen and even at the polls next month. Gil and Miranda provide cultural context on the ways that savvy marketers can craft dual-language communications that speak to this cohort’s unique ambiculturality that blends Americana and sabor Latino.
