Global Human Resources Leader

Adam serves as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer for Nielsen. He leads the Global HR organization and is responsible for Nielsen’s strategy to attract, develop, engage and reward talent.

During his 19 year tenure with Nielsen, Adam has held multiple HR leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Chief HR Officer for the Audience Measurement business. Prior to that he was Nielsen Chief Talent Officer, led the Global Talent Acquisition function, led the Compensation team for the former Nielsen IQ business and spent a few years in Nielsen’s workforce optimization team.  He is credited for launching the Center of Excellence HR model at Nielsen.  Adam is also one of the SERV Business Resource Group (BRG) sponsors which is a group focused on providing support to Veterans and their
families across Nielsen.

Before joining Nielsen, Adam worked for Stromberg Consulting, a management consulting organization. There, he focused on organizational change, training & development, and strategic communications for multiple Fortune 500 companies.

Adam holds an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Vermont (UVM). He sits on the alumni board and is the Chair of UVM’s alumni career committee, which focuses on helping students transition into the workplace.

Adam and his wife, Beth, live in New Jersey and are proud parents of two children (Luke and Skylar) and their dog, Walker. Adam enjoys all outdoor activities and is an avid golfer. He also collects ticket stubs.
