In this year’s ranking of the 30 best workplaces for consulting and professional services by Fortune Magazine and Great Place to Work, we’re proud to have placed No. 10. This is the third such ranking for Nielsen this year, having previously been ranked on the lists for best workplaces for diversity and best employers for Millennials.
While Nielsen is well known for measurement solutions, our associates are an essential part of daily business, providing their expertise and advice to help clients make sense of the fast-changing consumer landscape. In this evolving environment, we know that client service work and consulting can be demanding work, and client demands often fluctuate. That’s why we strive to create an employee experience where everyone can innovate, take risks, learn and grow.
“At Nielsen, we really value our associates—they give so much of themselves to ensure our clients stay well ahead of the curve by delivering the science behind what’s next. Keeping associates happy and healthy is critical to maintaining their and our clients’ satisfaction,” said Susan Dunn, Executive Vice President, Client Services, Nielsen.
This Fortune award was given to companies that go above and beyond to give employees work-life balance without sacrificing their sense of progress, agency, or accomplishment. We stand in good company with other top 10 companies like PriceWaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Roth Staffing, and law firm Cooley, LLP.
Based on about 900 anonymous survey responses, 85% of Nielsen employees feel that their consulting workplace is great. As one of our employees wrote in a response, “This company does everything it can to feel like more than just a place to work. Nielsen has shown in many ways that it deeply cares about individual’s whole lives.”
