United in Culture, Nielsen Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month 2020

Each year, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, the U.S. celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM). It’s a month where businesses, governments, educational institutions and NGOs recognize the achievements, contributions and influence that Hispanic people have across the country. While 2020 has been anything but ordinary, it’s important that we pause to celebrate and acknowledge the tremendous value, uniqueness and cultural prowess Latino colleagues bring to Nielsen and to their communities. Considering the Hispanic community is made up of people from different countries that are united by their culture, that’s why our HHM 2020 themes is #unidosencultura.

Having a robust, diverse and inclusive workforce is essential to our products, business and relationships with clients and communities we serve. That’s why we are committed to investing in Hispanic associates and empowering our HOLA (Hispanic Organization for Leaders in Action) business resource group to have an active voice on the issues that are important to associates. In addition to focusing on growing our Hispanic talent pipeline through internal and external professional development programs, Nielsen is partnering with NGOs and non-profit organizations to support Latino causes and initiatives
